1996

Launch of Frontier Agro LLC
Frontier Agro LLC was established as an export-import trade center between Canada and the United States. Located in the Financial District of Toronto at 335 Bay Street, we started with a single small office, focusing on commission and brokerage deals within the Canadian pulses industry. It took us 11 months to close our first brokerage deal with chickpeas, marking the start of our journey in global trade.

1994

Expansion in Canadian Pulses Business
By 1994, Frontier Agro LLC had successfully expanded its brokerage business within the Canadian pulses sector. This was further demonstrated when we fulfilled over 100 containers of pulses to Italy, solidifying our global presence in the industry.

1996

Expansion into Beans Business
Our expansion continued in 1996 with a focus on the beans business. We diversified our offerings, increasing our trade scope and continuing to build a reputation as a key player in the agricultural sector.

1998

Expansion into Seeds and Pulses
Further diversification occurred in 1998 when we expanded into the seeds and pulses sectors. This was a crucial milestone that helped us further establish ourselves in the global commodities market.

1999

Office Relocation to 425 University Avenue
To accommodate our growing operations, Frontier Agro LLC moved its headquarters to 425 University Avenue, occupying 2,000 square feet of office space. This move symbolized our growth and commitment to strengthening our presence in the market.

2000

Establishment of Documentation Department
In 2000, Frontier Agro LLC established a dedicated documentation department. This department was integral to the preparation of banking and ocean freight documents, enabling us to efficiently participate in the global trading business.

2001

Launch of Fiberglass Division
Frontier Agro LLC launched its Fiberglass Division in 2001 to supply products to Canadian manufacturing companies. This was a significant expansion into the manufacturing sector, broadening our product offerings beyond agricultural commodities.

2002

Launch of Logistics Division
We continued our growth by establishing an end-to-end Logistics Division in 2002. Partnering with SGS and several inspection companies, we began holding fiberglass in warehouses across Canada, enhancing our logistical capabilities.

2003

Expansion of Food Division and IT/Financial Departments
In 2003, our Food Division expanded to include grains and dairy products such as cheeses and milk powders. Additionally, we established our own dedicated IT and Financial Departments, setting up systems to enhance operational efficiency. We also built strong business relationships with major financial institutions like the Royal Bank of Canada and ICICI Bank, along with becoming members of several trade associations.

2004

Dried Fruits and Spices Line
In 2004, we added a new trader to our team to establish a new line for dried fruits and spices, further diversifying our product offerings and increasing our market reach.

2005

Launch of Chemicals Division and Food Expansion
Our Food Division expanded into sugar and salt products, while we launched our Chemicals Division, providing essential supplies to international manufacturing companies. This was a key milestone in expanding our business portfolio.

2006

Expansion into Oils
In 2006, our Food Division expanded further into sunflower, soybean, and vegetable oils. This was a strategic move to provide a wider range of essential food products to our global customer base.

2008

Office Expansion in India
Frontier Agro LLC opened its first office in Ludhiana, India, to manage the Far East and Southeast Asia markets. This move solidified our presence in Asia and facilitated growth in one of the world’s fastest-developing markets.

2009

Second Office in Vadodara, India
Our expansion in India continued with the opening of a second office in Vadodara, further strengthening our operations in the Indian subcontinent and the surrounding regions.

2010

Expansion into Frozen Goods
Our Food Division took another step forward by expanding into frozen vegetables, frozen fruit, rice, and spices, offering more diverse options to our customers.

2011

Launch of Chemical Division
We officially launched our Chemical Division in 2011, extending our reach to a wider variety of global industries that rely on chemical products for manufacturing and industrial applications.

2014

Launch of Pharmaceutical Division and International Expansion
Frontier Agro LLC expanded further with the launch of our Pharmaceutical Division to distribute prescription drugs for clinical trials. This year also marked a significant expansion of our global operations as we established partnerships with over 200 supply sources and 250 loyal buyers across five continents. By 2014, we were conducting business in more than 40 countries, attending world-class trade shows like Anuga, Sial, Gulfood, and several industry-specific events.

2015

Move to International Headquarters at 481 University Avenue
In 2015, Frontier Agro LLC moved its international headquarters to a new, state-of-the-art office at 481 University Avenue in Toronto, Canada. This expansion was crucial to supporting our continued growth and global operations.

2018

ERP System and Website Overhaul
In 2018, Frontier Agro LLC bid farewell to standalone software, implementing a comprehensive ERP system that integrated all departments — Administration, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Documentation. Additionally, we redesigned our flagship website to align with modern trends, focusing on a professional design and SEO optimization.
